Titles and Such

I sometimes think of great movie titles or even book titles… my thought this morning was that a book entitled” “The Teabagging of America” would illustrate the depths to which our system has fallen since the Boston Tea Party took place. the recent bail out and the sham voting process displays that we are beyond a bi-partisan system It is time for a strong 3rd movement to come forward.

Both parties require urgent reform – yet I ask myself, why are we caught in this false dichotomy? The forces that be have us voting for two undesirables. Abstention is actually the higher percentage amid the obscene expenses that we are forced to endure.

The Suburban Myth: Voting for Obama

Home of the 197M Latte!

Home of the 197M Latte!

As I stroll the streets of Newton MA I cannot help but chuckle at the amount of “Obama/Biden” lawn signs strewn randomly about. Why? This is an upper middle class city (for the most part) and I suspect many of the “liberal, white, pseudo-intellectual” voters are ashamed of being called racist if they voice support for McCain.

Why would people from Newton vote for Obama? Compassion? Try crossing a street in Newton Center and more often than not a prick in a beamer will disregard state law and try you out as a hood ornament! Fall off your bicycle, be assured you have a better chance of being helped if you had fallen in Cambridge where people ride bikes as transportation.  There is a great deal of “facadery” in this town – nice cars, manicured lawns, haute couture, but little substance (the Library rocks!).  I am not saying that voting for Obama requires substance, it actually is a desperation move. He stands to take away more from Newtonites than McCain does. Newtonites voted against budget increases the last time around stifling some key programs in the city, a city that is WASTING millions in project overruns on Newton North High School under the guise of “renovations and expansions”. Why would we want increased taxes on our properties and larger wasteful government?

Unfortunately John McCain offers little leadership – he is a like a rudderless ship right now with a jawing attack dog (or bitch) barking away while the ship sinks. The Maverick of old is a Pinto and is imploding.

That may be the only reason people in Newton MA are voting for Obama, but If you were to tell me it was “progressive convictions”, well, then these people need a primer in urbanity and basic caring for their neighbors.

Antisemites – Mediocrity can always be relied upon

When things go bad it seems that Jews are to be held responsible for this. As the economy suffers its cyclical turnabout owing to bad management and overfeeding of all elements involved, the mediocre cannot but accuse us of being behind this whole financial crisis.

The Mediocre are many and simply lack brains or a life for that matter. They justify their own failure by scapegoating.  I am just appalled that idiocy continues to prevail in an age where everybody has a chance to ascend.

Morons like Hugo Chavez and the Iranian whose name I will not write out of disgust blame Jews and the United States for what? The prevalent corruption in Venezuela and Iran? Ignoring the needs of their people while showboating around the world spending millions and giving money to foreigners instead of their own? The fall of oil prices? Not knowing how to invest the windfall? Stupidity isn’t anybody’s fault, it is your own Hugo and the cadre of idiots that subscribe to consipiracy theories.

There is no conspiracy, there is an unwillingness of those most apt to govern to take high office. There is a malaise in our country to take action. Stop watching reality shows, your own reality is richer, deeper and more meaningful – when you choose to take ownership of your actions rather than dictate to those on the screen what they should be doing then you are on the right course. When you choose to stop being the vessel for the filth that the media or some loony antisemitic shithead spews, you will be free. Until then, you are but a slave and like the snake should just breath dust.

Criminal Behavior Must Be Punished Accordingly

As the country submits to the Goldman-Sachs way of doing things and Paulsen fumbles around, very little has been said or done by the countries top Execs except pick our pockets.

These people are criminals. The AIG bailout followed by a bacchanal where our money was spent on spa treatments, golf packages and every conceivable luxury should be reimbursed to the United States and those at fault for holding the event put in disciplinary leave while a full investigation is conducted. This cannot be another news item that slips by. I get the impression that the American Public is getting angry, yet our USA TODAY reading attention span is not getting us to ACT.

Where are the Business Leaders in this Whole Mess: The War on Terror Begins in the USA

Great Blog post on Bail Out

One of the biggest questions is that CEO’s of major companies have evaporated in the middle of this media frenzy and mess. The opinions of political candidates are worthless – the pols like Pelosi cause mayhem; yet she helped out those of us that oppose this indiscriminate bail out of thieves.

It reminds me of the terrorist methods used by many of enemies – hold innocent children in front as shields… now the subtext is we will sink the average Joe is this bailout does not happen.

All along our most dangerous enemies have been running our economy… We must hold these people accountable. A bail out cannot be made with out provisions for accountability. Blaming the Sarbanes-Oxley act for a mis-valuation is simply wrong. The very Act was implemented to prevent the type of crap we are seeing. This is a dismal failure. The failure of regulation. Not to prove its futility, rather that we focus on the wrong things, jumping through hoops, without noticing that when we get to the end, the building burned down…
