9 of Chavez’s dissenters continue in jail falsely accused of homicide. In spite of long hours of judicial process, nothing has been proven. Their true crime was to criticize Chavez for human rights abuses throughout the country. Such candor cost them their liberty. Chavez has gone to the extreme of denying one of the detainees, Ivan Simonovis access to surgery that he has been requiring to heal gastrointestinal problems. Remember, that in Venezuela, you are guilty until proven the innocent, and this allows people to be picked up for no other reason than looking in the wrong direction.
Debemos alertar al mundo acerca de estas violaciones a los derechos humanos. No debe quedar impune Chavez.
