The recent spike in prices is failing to bring our debate to a more key area: How do we improve Public Transportation? Is it time to embrace Hydrogen (yes)?
I think McCain needs to get off this bandwagon as it won’t guarantee price drops (Big Oil is not about dropping prices). All around the country people are suddenly embracing public transportation. Perhaps instead of a windfall tax a la Obama, we can work out a way to have Big Oil shoulder infrastructure improvement? Same pill, better flavor. Yum.
